Give your unwanted laptop to a new home
Do you have an old laptop computer in need of a new home? Donate it by Tuesday 3 September!
The Coalville Computer Nerd is collecting donated laptops and refurbishing them before handing them to Loughborough-based charity, Falcon Support Services.
Falcon Support Services provide accommodation and supports homeless people in accessing shelter, food, medical care, job training and more.
Donated and refurbished laptops will then be given out to service users to enable them to access key online services, write CVs and much more.
If you have any unwanted laptops and would like them to be donated to Falcon Support Services, you can drop them off at the Charnwood Borough Council offices in Southfields Road, Loughborough during normal opening hours (Monday to Friday, 9am until 4pm) up until Tuesday, 3 September 2024.
Before donating your laptops, please ensure you have removed all personal data and donate the chargers if possible. Only laptops can be donated, and not mobile phones, tablets, desktop computers or similar devices.
