The Digital Poverty Alliance have expanded their ‘tech4youth’ scheme into Charnwood, Melton and Hinckley & Bosworth, meaning 11-19 years old in these areas can apply for a free laptop, along with support with internet connectivity and digital skills. The initiative had initially only been open to young people in North West Leicestershire.
